Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge 2024 · 4 May 2024 ·

EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

My sister had a brain hemorrhage 6 years ago and is still being supported by Headway. There is a history of strokes in my family and a series of these attributed to my mother's dementia in later life. I am very proud to support this charity through my challenge.

I have already completed two 100k challenges over two days in the past but this year I am attempting a non stop Isle of Wight 106k challenge!

My sister Anne and Sara will be joining me on the first 25k of the walk this first May Bank Holiday weekend.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Any support you can give is greatly appreciated for such a worthy cause.
