Following on from last year’s event, TEAM MAND will once again be taking to the streets of Bury to run the Bury 10K on 7th September. This year, we are proud to have a team of 16 incredible runners.

We are running in memory of my amazing and beautiful wife – and Jessica’s wonderful mum – Amanda Penney, who we sadly lost in March 2024. We miss her so much everyday. Every step we take is for her, and every penny raised will go directly to Bury Hospice, who cared for Amanda with such compassion, dignity and love in her final days.

Since Amanda’s passing, her memory has already inspired more than £25,000 in donations for Bury Hospice, which is truly incredible. But the hospice needs over £4 million every year to keep its doors open, and to continue providing this vital care for families like ours.

That’s why we’re determined to keep going – raising money, raising awareness, and honouring Amanda’s memory every step of the way.
