It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Hi all,

After just a 9 weeks of having this awful disease my father in-law lost his fight. To see such a strong man struggle through this in such a short time has made me even more determined to raise vital funds to tackle pancreatic cancer. Eddie sadly passed away on Sunday December 15th 2024, leaving behind his wife, 6 children and 8 Grandchildren. He will leave a massive whole in our family. Raising these funds will hopefully help with vital research to prevent this awful disease affecting other families like it has affected ours. If you could donate just a small amount this will help massively. Thank you for taking time to read this update 💙

Hi All

There aren’t many people who haven’t been affected by cancer in one way or another, and although huge strides have been made to conquer this terrible disease, there is still a long way to go. Pancreatic cancer is often referred to as the silent killer with around 8,800 people diagnosed in the UK each year, and sadly around 8,700 losing their lives to it. To held fund vital research and raise awareness I will be running the Manchester Marathon for one of my all time hero’s, a man who has touched so many lives with his kindness, humour and love, the man who has taught me so much - my father in-law. Please help me to raise as much as I can to help stamp out this terrible disease.

After raising my target within just an hour I have raised my target thanks again everyone you are amazing
