Story
In September 2026 Aimée and David will be driving a reconditioned ambulance, packed with medical supplies, as part of a convoy taking urgently needed aid to Ukraine with the charity Medical Life Lines Ukraine.
MLLU has so far delivered 120 aid-filled ambulances and emergency services vehicles to Ukraine along with 25 generators and one all-terrain rescue crane since Putin's illegal full-blown invasion. Working with the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, they source, repair and deliver ambulances directly to hospitals and emergency services on the frontline, where Russian drone strikes continue to destroy vital medical infrastructure. This work has saved countless lives and shown the people of Ukraine that a huge number of people in the outside world are acutely aware of their plight and keen to help them in whatever way they can.
It costs £25,000 to buy, recondition and deliver a single ambulance and we aim to raise at least £15,000 towards that total. All support and admin work is performed by volunteers and delivery costs are covered by the drivers so every penny raised goes towards the ambulance and medical supplies. Aimée and I will match any donations up to the target.
The demand for humanitarian aid and medical supplies is unrelenting so we're asking for your support – any donation, large or small, will directly help get a functioning ambulance and life saving kit to where it is desperately needed. Thank you so much for anything you can give.
Important: you can use GiftAid if you're a UK taxpayer, which will be added to your donation.
