Story
I was one of the lucky ones who got into the London Marathon via the ballot.
Unfortunately, our Mum passed away on 11 October 2024 in the Salisbury Hospice, under their great care..
I then took the hard decision to defer my entry in the 2025 London Marathon to the 2026 London Marathon.
I am now running in the 2026 London Marathon and am doing this in memory of my Mum and to raise as much awareness about the Salisbury Hospice as possible!
There is absolutely no pressure to raise a certain amount as my entry is via the ballot, so any amount raised for the Hospice is greatly appreciated.
I am determined to ensure that our Mums memory lives on and am doing all of this for her. Every single training run, whether it’s first thing in the morning or late at night, I am doing all of this with her in mind.
26 April 2026 - The day that I dare to be great!
