On Sunday 13th September, David Rogers, Director and Senior Solicitor at Bridge Employment Law, will be swapping employment tribunals for running shoes as he takes on the 13.1 miles of the Great North Run to raise money for Chocolate & Co.

David has specialised in employment law for more than 20 years. During his career he has led legal teams, worked as in-house Legal Counsel for a major UK manufacturer and represented clients through countless employment law matters. But this September, he'll be facing a rather different challenge!

Bridge Employment Law has chosen Chocolate & Co as its Charity of the Year, and we are incredibly grateful to David for taking on the Great North Run on our behalf.

Why Chocolate & Co?

Chocolate & Co is a small York charity with a simple belief: everyone has potential.

Through our community café, we provide meaningful paid employment, volunteering opportunities, training, mentoring and practical support for people who have experienced addiction, homelessness, offending or other circumstances that can leave them excluded from the workplace and wider community.

For many of the people we support, employment is about far more than earning a wage. It provides routine, purpose, confidence, connection and, importantly, the opportunity to begin building a different future.
