In June 2025, I along with my brother, will be attempting to complete the National 3 Peaks Challenge within 24 hours, in aid of A Gift to Lift.

Why a Gift to Lift?

A Gift to Lift was created by Alex Hopwood when she was battling blood cancer. Unfortunately, Alex lost her battle to the disease, but today the charity is ran by her mum Jacky Hopwood, family members and friends.

A Gift to Lift has personally helped, my family and I during this last year, when unfortunately my wife Jess, was diagnosed with stage 2A Classical Hodgkins Lymphoma, a form of blood cancer.

During Jess' treatment, we were put in touch with A Gift to Lift, as they help anyone going through Blood Cancer treatment, via laptops, ipads or a weekend away at their retreat in Burnham Market.

We were lucky enough to use the retreat, to aid Jess' recovery after her gruelling chemotheraphy treatments.

If we are able to reach the goal of £5000, it would provide a weekend retreat to 25 families and would help a fantastic local charity.
