When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Fellow motorcyclist Ivor Uren of Redruth suffered a massive stroke and bleed on the brain last September and has been bed ridden ever since in a nursing home in Hayle, and unable to communicate.
