David's fundraiser for Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs

Etape Caledonia 2024 · 12 May 2024 ·
Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page and for reading our story.
I am raising money in memory of our nephew, Lewis Scougall.
Lewis sadly passed away at just 22 years old on 18th September 2023. He is so very missed by all who knew and love him.
We have so many amazing and fun memories of spending time with Lewis as he grew up and became such a lovely young man. A lot of those memories were at the caravan at Loch Earn where we had great times with him.
Lewis was a fantastic big cousin to Amy and Andrew who both just adored him. Lewis was always happy to show them guitar playing or to join them in playing card games, chess and board games. They are so lucky to have made those memories with him. Unfortunately, there should have been many more.
Like many many young people and adults, Lewis had his struggles in life. It’s so important that people like Lewis and their families can reach out for help and support when they need it.
So that is why I am joining my brother-in-law Martin and niece Ana in taking part in the 85 mile Etape Caledonia 2024 on 12th May to raise funds for Scottish Families affected by Alcohol and Drugs in memory of Lewis.
I would be so grateful for any donation you can make. We want to do Lewis proud.
Here is some information about the charity:
Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs is a national charity that supports anyone concerned about someone else’s alcohol or drug use in Scotland. We give listening support and information to many people and help them with confidence, communication, general wellbeing, and we link them into local support. We also help people recognise and understand the importance of looking after themselves.
