As many of you know me I am a nurse of over 25 years at the Countess of Chester Hospital. Unfortunately last year I fractured my spine and was off work for over 4 months experiencing the other side of nursing. Now I am back to work I wish to try and give something back to the NHS and in particular to the Countess of Chester Hospital Modular ward in attempting to raise funds for much needed equipment and in particular a Bladder scanner which will help patients and staff to achieve and maintain a high level of care. With my best friend Dave I have signed up for the arduous task on Facebook for the 26.2 mile hike up and around Moel Famau on the 21st March with the organisation OutFit personal Fitness ltd. This course will be set out over a full day approximately 12 hours of a marathon walk. I don't like to ask money but I hope to be able to raise some money towards the Hospial and to give back some time and fundraiser for what I feel is a rewarding cause, many thanks Dave.
