Edinburgh Marathon Festival Team Relay 2024 · 26 May 2024 ·

The Cookie Jar Foundation was set up by the family of Christopher Coutts who lost his two year fight against cancer at the age of 19. Our main aim is to provide support to both children and young adults in need of help, whether it be in hospital, educational or community based environment..

Story

The team at Inverkeithing Medical Group are trying to………………………

Move more in May!

We have to practice what we preach so some of the practice team are running the Edinburgh Marathon Team Relay 2024. Getting more active has so many health benefits - both mental and physical.

Our team includes our ace nursing sprinters - Robbie and Lindsay and our elite athlete (not really) doctors McCarter, Zheng, Reeks, Arthur, Stewart and Somerville. Waiting in the wings in case of injury is our practice manager Andy (who can actually run unlike the rest of us!)

We are supporting the Cookie Jar Foundation- a local charity working in Fife and beyond helping children both in hospital and the community.

As a team we know the importance that charities play in providing the help and support to patients and their families that the NHS can’t provide. With mounting pressure on the NHS it’s even more vital that these small local charities continue to get support.

So please make a small donation to this worthy cause if you can and if you see us out running give us a wave and tell us to run a bit faster!!

Thank you.
