Myself and Andy will both be running the London Marathon in April 2025 on behalf of Wigan and Leigh Hospice. Along with the marathon we'll be doing various other events through-out the rest of 2024 and leading into 2025, all fundraising for the same goal. For example, Andy will be running the Valencia Marathon in December and I will be doing the Manchester Half Marathon in October, with hopefully plenty more scheduled in the coming months!

Having unfortunately lost our nan last March, Andy decided that he wanted to have a lifestyle change, and take on the challenge of becoming healthier in general, and getting in better shape. I followed him by doing the same starting in the August, and when we both got the opportunity to take part in the marathon on behalf of Wigan and Leigh Hospice we saw this as a good long term goal, to continue with our progress, as well as to raise money for an absolutely fantastic cause.

Although our nan didn't need hospice care, the work they do is invaluable for the families of those that are affected. With us both being local Wigan lads, we felt there would be no greater opportunity to represent them and hopefully raise a fantastic sum in order for them to continue doing the vital work they do.
