The work done by this charity to support professionals and families learning how to live with the impact of autism is invaluable.

There's always a first time for everything including a marathon, so the training has started, the size of the challenge is now evident, but I'm working at it. With the support of friends and family and the knowledge that I have to deliver on these donations, I'm sure I will get there (albeit probably more slowly than I would like).

And to my daughter Megan who is still working out how to navigate the world with a brain that works differently - if your couch potato Dad can do this, you can do anything your set your heart on!
