I walked Lands End to John o Groats in 2022 and for some crackpot reason decided I'd do it again for my 70th. I'm walking 'unsupported' ie carrying everything I need and will be joined for stages along the way by family, friends and ex-colleagues. I'll be starting in Dover on Mar 25th 2026 and walking for approx 100 days to finish in Stornoway at the end of June.

I'm hoping to raise funds for Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) - the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation.

They provide emergency assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics and natural or man-made disasters, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.

They work in over 70 countries and go to the places where others cannot or choose not to go, Gaza, Ukraine, Yemen, Sudan
