Story

It’s that time of year again… yes, we’re back at it!

As has now become a proud (and slightly sweaty and at time very muddy) annual tradition, AWS and Sky are once again teaming up for our summer charity challenge.

Let’s take a quick jog down memory lane:

• 2022 – Toughmudder 10K (a.k.a. “The Year of the Mud”)

• 2023 – Spartan 10K (because who doesn’t love crawling under barbed wire?)

• 2024 – Toughmudder 10 Mile (double the mud, double the fun?)

This year, we’ve decided to give our washing machines a break and go for something a little less muddy: the Saucony London 10K on 13th July. A team of 20 brave AWS/Sky colleagues will be running through the streets of London on a closed course—ideally under a cool July breeze, but let’s be honest, it’ll probably be 30°C and sunny.

As always, we’re not just running for the medals (or the post-race snacks). We’re running to raise money for Cancer Research UK, a truly incredible charity that’s making a real difference in the fight against cancer—a disease that, sadly, touches so many of our lives.

CRUK is the world’s largest independent funder of cancer research, working across the UK and in 39 countries worldwide. They also provide vital support and information to patients and their loved ones—something that’s often just as important as the research itself.

So, yet again, I find myself asking for your support. If you can spare a donation—big or small—it would mean the world to us and help fund life-saving research.

Let’s lace up, dig deep, and do something amazing together.

“Together we will beat cancer.”
