Stirling Ackroyd is once again fundraising for Shooting Star Children's Hospices in 2023.

Story

We're incredibly proud to be Shooting Star Children's Hospices longest standing corporate supporter and since our fundraising began in 2001 we have raised over £300,000. In 2023 we will be continuing our efforts by taking on the following challenges...

This year we are taking part in our Stirling Ackroyd Marathon event in central London on 26th May.

To help raise money we; Kate, David and Luvelle from the Stirling Ackroyd Portfolio Asset Management (PAM)/Streatham team will be running part of the marathon.

To put the challenge into context, KAte runs 5/6k regularly but no more than that distance , David is a keen cyclist but not a runner whilst Luvelle tells us that he used to be a good runner but hasnt run in years!

As you can imagine, this will be a considerable challenge for us but we will endeavour to run as far as distance as we can, as part of the marathon to raise funds for the charity.e

Shooting Star Children's Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families across Surrey and London.

Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, we are here to make every moment count. We support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.
