Story

A HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who supported me in the Chiltern 50k Ultra Challenge Walk on Saturday 28 September ... it was a day full of sunshine and beautiful scenery ... and many super people: all those walking raising money for important charities; and all the Ultra Challenge staff and volunteers who made the event extra special. THANK YOU.

Stop Press: 'The Every Drop Counts' project - supported by the Council of Protestant Churches of Nicaragua (CPAD) and the Amos Trust has been dealt a severe blow by the Nicaraguan Government’s sudden announcement, on 19 August, that it was cancelling the registration of 1,500 faith-based charities and non-profit organisations including CEPAD.

Any funding already raised has been held by the Amos Trust while CPAD continue to try find a way to continue their work in the future. Until then all 'Every Drop Counts' fund raising has been suspended.

Please do not sponsor my Ultra Challenge Walk until I can give notice that the situation has become clearer. Our hearts go out to the poor farmers in Nicaragua and the staff of CPAD and the Amos Trust. David
