David's fundraiser for Brain Tumour Research

John O Groats to Lands End · 1 June 2025
The team story.
Last year a very close friend and fellow REME soldier was suddenly taken ill with a brain tumour and it turn his life upside down along with his family. He managed to battle through all the treatment given to him and ran the London marathon this year after being given the all clear.
Just before Christmas Sgt Paul Gravestock sister, Sam had a seizure at home. This is when she found out she had two brain tumours and is currently going through treatment to prolong her life.
Just recently a family friend of the cycling team has found out she also has a brain tumour and is in the early stages of treatment.
This year, we will be cycling in a team of 7 from John O Groats to Lands End. Covering over 800 miles in just 11 days, from the 2nd June -12th June, to raise funds for the Brain Tumour Research Charity.
Please donate what you can to this great cause.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
