I am running my first half-marathon to raise money for Fitzy's Fund and the Bone Cancer Research Trust.

Sam (Fitzsimmons) was a colleague of mine who was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in July 2018, and sadly passed away on 16 May 2020, aged 23.

After he passed away, Fitzy's Fund was set up to fund vital research into Ewing sarcoma where current treatments are limited and survival rates for metastatic disease are poor.
