Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Me and my brother were recently diagnosed with this hemochromotosis.

It's A condition whereas our bodies can't cope with excess iron. What happens with the iron is that it is stored in major organs and can cause a whole host of issues from cancer, inflammation, heart issues, depression, anxiety. The list goes on.

This condition was completely unknown to us but looking into it I have discovered that it is more common than people think.

ItIts also known as the celtic curse and is fairly common to peopl in yhr northern hemesphere. Such as northern europeans

Thr only way to get thr inflammation doen and remove excessive iron is to change our diets to mostly vegetables and also the main trratment is phlebotomies. This is basically donating blood to regulate our iron stores.

iim running to create awareness and hopefully help help others
