Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This page is in memory of David Marsh, Dave to most. The most loving husband, Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad, and the best friend you would ever know. Dave had a 3 year battle with prostate cancer and for those 3 years he fought valiantly and with a smile on his face and with always a joke to hand. He was the bravest man we knew. A hero and a legend. Throughout his battle he was so grateful to those who cared for him. Not least Macmillan and Prostate cancer uk and he strived to raise awareness of prostate cancer and to ensure that other men went to get regular checks from their Dr’s. His goal was to save people’s lives and to ensure that others didn’t go through the pain and suffering that he and his family endured. To a vast extent he achieved this, but his final request was that this didn’t stop when he passed. He wanted us to ensure that his legacy lived on and that we as a family did all we could to help others and to raise awareness of prostate cancer. It was also his wish to acknowledge the care, compassion and support that macmillan gave to him and to our family throughout his illness. They truly were incredible and they are still offering support today. To that end his final thank you is to raise as much money as we can for both. So we created this page so that others can show support of this great man and the amazing people and charities who took the greatest care of him when he needed them the most. Please donate what you can and ensure that Dave’s legacy lives on. Thank you x
