As you may know I take part in this event every year raising funds for Pendleside Hospice to support the invaluable work they do in our community. This year I am also walking (and drinking) in memory of my big sister Linda who sadly passed away last November. She had been due to be taken by the hospice for the enhanced palliative care they offer but sadly entered the last stages of her illness in the early hours of the very day she was due to be transferred and so did not make it there.

Please give as much as you can to support this amazing place, it means more to me this year than usual!
