TG Lynes Sales Executive David Batey is taking part in a terrifying wingwalk at 135mph to raise money for Teens Unite Fighting Cancer!

Teens Unite provides people aged between 13 and 24 with the social, emotional, and physical support that is vital to their cancer recovery.

At a time when it can feel like there’s so much they can’t do, Teens Unite are there to show the young people what they can do, without the ‘c’ word holding them back.

David will be strapped to the wing of a plane for the white-knuckle challenge on September 9.

David, from Shuttleworth in Bedfordshire, said: “I don’t like flying and haven’t been on a plane in more than five years.

“I will be extremely nervous, there’s no doubt about that, but once I commit to something there’s no turning back.

“It’s all for a good cause and I’m hoping I can somehow enjoy the experience!”
