Back in 2024, I completed the Barcelona Marathon alongside my brother, and together we raised over £1,500 for Mind, supporting Mind mental health services across the UK.

It was an incredible experience. There were highs, lows, cramps, questionable pacing strategies, and at one point, my brother somehow managed to finish the race with nipples that looked like they'd gone ten rounds with a cheese grater. Thankfully, I'm hoping to avoid a repeat performance this time around.

For 2026, we've decided to take on the Amsterdam Marathon on Sunday, 18th October and once again raise money for mental health charities and awareness.

Mental health is something that affects all of us, whether directly or through friends, family, or colleagues. The support provided by mental health charities can be life changing, but they rely heavily on donations to continue their work.

After seeing the generosity and support shown during our Barcelona Marathon fundraiser, I felt there was more we could do. So, we're having it off once again and taking on another 26.2 miles to raise money for a cause that genuinely matters.

While my brother has wisely retired from nipple-related endurance events, I won't be running alone. My good friend Joe has agreed to join me for the challenge, which means I'll have someone beside me to share the miles, keep morale high, and remind me that signing up for a marathon seemed like a good idea at the time.

Every donation big or small will help support people facing mental health challenges and ensure vital services remain available to those who need them most.
