Story

My wonderful godfather / uncle Andy was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy in 2020. Simple acts such as dressing himself, walking, pouring a glass of wine are all major hurdles to tackle. He has learnt to embrace life mobility scooter, and continues to live life to the full despite daily struggles.

Not one to be easily defeated by disability, and in true Davies spirit, he has set about organising a fundraising event to raise money and awareness of MD. His event ‘Source to Sea’, a walk scheduled for 15-16th of April, is an extremely meaningful event. I will be walking my 6 miles stretch as a 'stage champion' from Kew Bridge to Putney Bridge on Sunday morning, alongside people with MD. (If you are free Sunday April 16th, please come along and walk with me!!)

I hope that you can support it by attending my 25th March event, joining me on my stage and/or making a donation. The money is going to fund research into cures and treatments for this devastating condition. Thank you so much for your support! I appreciate it massively.
