6 years ago - at Christmas time, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My life was saved because of that screening. I had been invited to take part in a trial of breast screening at 47 when usually people are invited at 50. My cancer was caught early. The National Breast Imaging Academy will be a national centre of excellence where people will be trained to save lives like mine. If invited for screening please always attend.
