Story
In May I’m taking on the PEDS 5K a Day Challenge — aiming to walk 5km every day throughout the month to raise funds for Personalised Eating Disorder Support (PEDS).
If you know me, you’ll know this will be quite a challenge. I struggle with my mobility, so some days even short distances can be difficult. That means I might not manage the full 5km every day — but I’m going to do what I can and keep going throughout the month.
I work at PEDS and see first-hand how eating disorders affect people of all ages and can have a huge impact not only on the individual but also on their families and loved ones. PEDS offers personalised support, early intervention, and advocacy to help people access the help they need.
So in May, I’ll be getting out and walking as much as I can — some days it may be slow, some days shorter than planned — but every step will be towards raising funds for this important work.
If you’re able to donate, share the page, or cheer me on along the way, I would be incredibly grateful.
Thank you so much for your support.
