I wanted to sign up to run the Carlisle 10k primarily because of my Grandma; Hospice at Home cared for her so well before she passed away and the date of the race is just too close to her birthday (which would have been the 18th) to ignore.

I also know so many people who have sadly lost loved ones but have been supported by Hospice at Home who provide comfort not just to people at the end of their life but also to people at the beginning of the grieving process.

Adam and I are woefully underprepared but hoping just to raise money and cross the finish line!

Hospice at Home provides high quality care and support for adults who have palliative and end of life care needs, whilst also supporting their families and carers. In 2022/23 we received 985 referrals.

As a charity we rely on the kindness and generosity of our local community. The amount we need to raise in a financial year is £1,718,901.48, so with your support we will be able to provide 'Local Care for Local People' - Thank you!
