I’m taking on the DCCT Founders Ride, cycling 260 miles in 3 days (yes… I know 😅) – all to raise vital funds for Derby County Community Trust.

And this isn’t just “a bike ride”. It’s a love letter to our community.

Derby County Community Trust is an incredible local charity creating meaningful, life-changing experiences for people across Derbyshire - especially in the areas and communities that need it most. They work with the youngest members of our community right through to older adults, helping people build confidence, improve their wellbeing, develop skills and feel part of something bigger.

They don’t just “run programmes”.

They change lives.

They create safer, stronger communities.

They give people belief.

From supporting vulnerable young people, to tackling isolation, improving physical and mental health, and opening doors to opportunity - their work matters. Deeply.

So I’ll be pedalling 260 miles (send snacks… and maybe new knees) to help them keep doing exactly that.
