**After raising £3500 for Women's Aid, we have localised our efforts to fundraise for Edinburgh Women's Aid

As many of you know, my brother Callum and I will be climbing Mount Etna in memory of our amazing mum.

Mount Etna was always on our list, the three of us had planned to hike it together for her 60th birthday. So instead, Callum and I will be doing it on her 58th birthday 18th May 2026.

We’ve set up this page to share memories and raise funds for Edinburgh Women’s Aid, the charity we’ve chosen to support as part of this journey. The climb is the big goal, but we’ll both be organising other fundraising events in the lead up.

In February, our mum was taken from us. There's no way to put into words how that feels. But we’re hoping this challenge brings some good into the world in her name. We want to create something that reflects who she truly was, and to change what comes up when people search her name.
