Homelessness and rough sleeping are still problems for people in Swansea. The causes are complicated, and the solutions are equally complex. This event will highlight the issues and put a focus on two charities working together to help. It will raise much needed funds and give wonderful volunteer fundraisers a tiny taste of sleeping out in the cold of Autumn. We know this doesn’t compare with the uncertainty and hardship of actual homelessness, but it does help focus the mind, and offers a chance to make a difference by raising funds.

After taking part myself in 2024 alongside 2 of my colleagues I wanted to continue my support and sleep out once again, the experience last year was humbling and rewarding all rolled into one. If you can sponsor me again I would be ever so grateful, and if you can join us to sleep under the stars that would be even better.

As Thom from Matthews House said, "working together with friends and partners is always better for everyone". So let's work on this together and help 'bring hope to people in need'.
