We are taking on Alfie’s Squad’s ‘Race for a Reason’ to support children and young people who have lost a loved one to suicide.

From 14th – 16th November, our team 'Dan & Becky United in taking on Alfie's Squad's Race For A Reason' will be racing from Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium to Chelsea’s Stamford Ground, but with a twist!

Along the way we’ll face secret checkpoints and challenges. It’s going to be a fun weekend using public transport and our imagination (possibly a couple of favours!) to get us to the finish line.

Alfie’s Squad was created by Alfie, who lost his dad to suicide when he was just 8 years old. With no support available for him, he decided to build something that would help others in the same situation.

Launched in 2023, Alfie’s Squad is the only charity in the UK that provides face to face peer support for children and young people (aged 6-17), and their families who are bereaved by suicide. Every week, up to 50 young members take part in fun and engaging activities, giving them the chance to build confidence and friendships.

Alfie's squad support our friends who find themselves in the same situation as Alfie and we are raising this money and awareness to ensure they can continue to receive such vital support.
