We spend our days helping the people of Wolverhampton navigate the property market, whether that’s helping buyers find their dream homes, getting properties sold, or supporting local landlords with renting and managing their investments. But on Sunday 27th September, we’re stepping out of the office and onto the tarmac for a brilliant local cause.

Two of the DB Roberts Wolverhampton team, David and Josh, are taking part in the Compton Half Marathon!

Starting and finishing at the iconic Aldersley Stadium, the 13.1-mile route will take us through the city and along the Smestow Valley.

More importantly, we are doing this to support Compton Care. They are a charity we’ve proudly supported over the years, you might have even spotted us featured in their charity diaries a few times, and we are already lined up to be in the upcoming 2027 edition too!

They do incredible work in our local community, providing specialist palliative care and bereavement support to people living with life-limiting conditions, right when they and their families need it most.

They provide extraordinary medical care and pain management at their 18-bed inpatient unit; they also run a 24/7 advice line and support patients in the comfort of their own homes. Their team looks after everything, from physical and psychological therapies to practical support with housing and legal matters, and even dedicated counselling for children and young people navigating the grief of a loved one.

While our entry fees cover the cost of the event, every single pound we raise via this page goes directly to helping Compton Care continue their vital work. Our team target is £500, and any donation, large or small, will give us a massive boost when our legs start to ache!
