Story

Hi everyone, and thanks for visiting my page!

Starting on the 27th April 2025, I’m taking on the challenge of running at least 5km every single day for the whole year and will finish by taking part in the 2026 London Marathon. I am doing this to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust – a charity that means a great deal to me and my family. Two of my brothers live with cystic fibrosis and, despite the challenges, they are living well into their 30s and beyond — something that wouldn't have been possible without the advances in treatment and support from organisations like the CF Trust.

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic condition that causes thick, sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system, leading to breathing difficulties, lung infections, and problems with digestion. It’s a lifelong and often invisible fight — but thanks to ongoing research and better treatments, more people with CF are living longer, fuller lives.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust continues to fund life-changing research, provide vital support services, and campaign for better care – but there’s still so much more to be done. So please raid those piggy banks, search down the back of the sofa or dig deep into those pockets, as every donation, no matter the size, will help make a real difference.

My runs will be posted daily so you can follow my progress each day. Your support will be most gratefully received, Thank you so much for reading, sharing, and donating.
