As some of you will now know, my mum, Julie, was very recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). She is currently in intensive care, very poorly with Neutropenic Sepsis. It has come as a big shock to us all and while we hope for a positive outcome, she has a very big uphill battle ahead of her.

**UPDATE**

We sadly lost mum to sepsis on 19th August 2025. It has been an awful time. Mum was such a huge part of Dock Diving UK, helping me business plan, fund, build & run the business plus all the emotional support she gave along with childcare. She is woven into the fabric of who we are. I hope this day can now be a bit of a celebration of who she was, i'd love to fill as many spots as i can to help raise as much to remember her as possible.

I am looking to raise money for Leukaemia Care which are a UK charity providing support in diagnosis, information, advice and treatment. It is not a situation I would wish on anyone however charities like Leukaemia Care help people feel a little less alone.

To Raise money we are holding a Doggy Swimathon at Dock Diving UK!

We will be running from 9-5pm on 13th September 2025. Sessions are 15 minutes long with up to 4 dogs in a session. A minimum donation of £10 per dog will hold your spot. You will then be added to the register which can be found below.
