Story

The Mission

Every 6 weeks, I host Vitro: The Vitality Games a high-stakes arena built to test longevity, human performance, and the resilience of the human heart.

But before the games begin, I push my own limits to support those who are fighting the ultimate battle for theirs.

The Challenge: 10 Hours. 10,000 Seconds.

To kick off this cycle, I am entering the "Dead Zone." I will be performing an accumulative 10,000-second Dead Hang condensed into a brutal 10-hour window.

The Math: That is 2 hours, 46 minutes, and 40 seconds of total "time on bar."

The Reality: 10 hours of skin tears, forearm failure, and the psychological battle to jump back up when every muscle is screaming for me to drop.

The Symbolism: In the UK, someone is admitted to the hospital with a heart attack every 5 minutes.

Over this 10-hour challenge, approximately 120 people will face that reality.

I am "hanging on" to represent the grit and endurance required for heart recovery.

Why the British Heart Foundation?

Heart and circulatory diseases kill one in four people in the UK.

These diseases don’t care how "fit" you look or how much you train but the BHF does.

They are the world’s leading funder of cardiovascular research, turning science into life-saving transplants and stroke preventions.

Every penny raised goes directly to the BHF to support the 7.6 million people currently living with heart conditions in the UK.
