1Million Kg Deadlift World Record · 17 October 2026

NHS Charities Together is a national independent charity caring for the NHS. Together with a network of over 230 NHS charities across the UK, we provide the extra support needed to care for NHS staff, patients and communities.

Story

I am taking on an extraordinary challenge: attempting to become the first person in history to deadlift 1,000,000kg (1,000 tonnes) in just 24 hours. This mammoth event will be supported and powered by none other than British Fitness Award Winners, GBHQ . A brand which I am so proud to be part of.

This is more than a world record attempt—it’s a bid for two official world records. Throughout the challenge, I will be targeting both the 12-hour record for the greatest total weight deadlifted and the 24-hour record for the greatest total weight deadlifted.

For 24 continuous hours, every single repetition will count towards a historic goal that has never been achieved before. The challenge will demand immense physical endurance, mental resilience, and an unwavering determination to keep lifting through fatigue, pain, and exhaustion.

To put this into perspective, deadlifting 1,000,000kg means moving the equivalent of hundreds of cars, thousands of people, or an entire fleet of loaded trucks—all through the power of one lift at a time.

This challenge is about pushing the limits of human performance while raising awareness and funds for an incredible cause. Every donation, share, and message of support will help fuel me through the toughest moments and remind me why I’m doing this.

By supporting this challenge, you’ll be part of an attempt to make history: a double world record bid and a mission to become the first person ever to pull 1,000,000kg in 24 hours.

Thank you for supporting me on this journey.
