I’m raising money for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), a charity that provides incredible care and support for children with life-threatening conditions and the families who love them. As a father, I know just how precious being a parent truly is. Every laugh, cuddle and moment with my son is something I cherish deeply, and it’s impossible not to think about the families whose time with their children is heartbreakingly cut far too short.

EACH provides comfort, compassion and support during the most difficult times imaginable, helping families create precious memories together when every moment matters most. The work they do is truly incredible, To help raise money for EACH, I’ll be taking on the challenge of running a half marathon. Anyone who knows me will know that I’m definitely not someone who does a lot of exercise, so this is going to be a huge personal challenge for me — both physically and mentally!

But knowing the difference this charity makes to families every single day gives me all the motivation I need to put the running shoes on get on with the training plan and push myself out of my comfort zone to ensure I can make it to that finish line.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to me and will help EACH continue the amazing work they do.
