Story
I myself have had the incredible support that Walking With The Wounded offers to veterans of all services.
It’s been a tough transition, like for many other men and women who have served, and December 2024 was ultimately the worst I’ve been with my mental health in quite some time.
Iv always felt like Iv been able to manage to some degree, but December it felt like there wasn’t much going back from where I got too mentally.
Many servicemen and women are struggling: struggling to deal with their past experiences and struggling to navigate life outside of the military. They’re finding it hard to adapt to what is already a challenging environment.
I know firsthand what Walking With The Wounded can offer veterans, and with more support, they can extend their services even further to help more men and women who need it.
Over the next 12 months, I’ll be taking part in as many challenges as I can and organising fundraising events to reach my target of £5,000.
It would be great for anyone to join me on these challenges, donate, or take part in the fundraising.
If you know me on a personal level, you will know how much this means to me. And how much the money will mean to other servicemen, woman, and families.
