Story
Dean, Mark, Flash, Panda, Liam, Pete, Alek, Millertime and Benji are tackling the National 3 peaks challenge in 24 hrs to raise funds for Trinity Hospice and Brian house Children’s Hospice.
Training has been well underway for a few months now as the lads look to complete the UK’s three highest mountains in under 24hrs.
The challenge starts on May 10th with a 5 1/2 hour drive to Scotland & Ben Nevis, which at, 1,344 metres, or 4,409 ft is the tallest of the three mountains.
From there the boys will drive 6hrs south back into the Lake District where we’ll climb Scafell Pike (978 m, 3,209 ft) in the night.
Finally, a 4 1/2 hr drive to the Welsh mountain, Snowdon, standing at no less than 1,085 m, 3,560 ft, where the boys will attempt summiting via the toughest and most notorious route - Crib Goch.
Collectively, having been touched by the fantastic support and care that Trinity has provided for friends and family over the years, we would love to raise as much as possible. For Dean and his Brother Liam, the staff at Trinity gave peace of mind and allowed their Dad to enjoy his final days in some comfort before eventually passing in April 2021.
