May l introduce you to Nottinghamshire's Lowland Rescue team. We are a team of more than 40 professional volunteers on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ready to deploy at any time, in any weather to find vulnerable missing people. We are proud members of Lowland Rescue, the UK's governing body for Lowland Rescue teams and are deployed by Nottinghamshire Police. Covering all 834 square miles of Nottinghamshire. Our members are trained to operate across all types of terrain including rural, towns and cities, forest, and around water.

Your support can really make a difference to continue the vital work needed in searching for vulnerable missing people. Approximately 80% of call outs are for people with poor mental health (despondent and suicidal) and those with mental disorders such as dementia.

The team has a running cost of around £10,000 per year, this goes to keeping vehicles road worthy, ongoing training, replacing medical supplies and more. Due to ongoing mechanical problems, the team will soon need to retire their control vehicle. This vehicle serves as our command centre for co-ordinating searches and transporting essential lifesaving equipment.
