As some of you may know, Sam and I were expecting a baby girl to enter our lives in June 2024. Sadly at 27 weeks she passed away and a week later she was born sleeping, after a difficult week at Kettering General Hospital for us both.

I saw Kettering was doing it's very first half marathon in 2025, so as I have been trying to keep fit lately to keep up with a little one I thought this would be a good next step to take on my journey.

It is probably the worst thing any body could go through and it could be so much harder, if not for charities like Child Bereavement UK.

Child Bereavement UK help children and young people (up to age 25), parents, and families, to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. Child Bereavement UK also provide training to professionals, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.
