Story
This August, I’ll be taking on a very meaningful challenge — cycling to 50 remote pubs across Wales and England alongside friends and family, all to raise money for Two Pints Deep.
Over the course of the journey, we’ll be travelling miles of country roads, hills, and back lanes to visit some of the most remote and characterful pubs we can find. It won’t be easy — there will be long days in the saddle, tired legs, unpredictable weather, and plenty of hills — but it’s all for a cause that means a lot to us.
Why I’m doing this
I’m raising money for Two Pints Deep, an organisation dedicated to supporting men’s mental health and encouraging open conversations. They create safe spaces where people can talk, connect, and realise they’re not alone — something that’s more important now than ever.
Mental health affects so many of us, directly or indirectly. Challenges like this aren’t just about the miles — they’re about raising awareness, starting conversations, and supporting organisations that are making a real difference.
The Challenge
🚴 Cycle to 50 remote pubs
📍 Across Wales and England
🗓️ Taking place in August
👨👩👧👦 Joined by friends and family along the way
🍻 Celebrating community, connection, and conversation
We’ll be documenting the journey as we go — sharing photos, stories, and maybe the occasional scenic pint stop — so you can follow along and see how we’re getting on.
How you can help
If you can spare anything at all, your donation will go directly to supporting the incredible work done by Two Pints Deep.
Every donation — big or small — makes a real difference.
If donating isn’t possible right now, sharing this page with friends, family, or colleagues would mean just as much.
Thank you for supporting this challenge, cheering us on, and helping raise awareness for men’s mental health.
Cheers 🍻
