Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As part of our Refugee Week, we are celebrating all the different cultures represented in our amazing school family, whilst also recognising the struggle and hardship so many people across the world face, and how this may lead to them needing to leave their homes and journey to the UK and join our society. We will be discussing what it means to be a refugee, and the benefits that supporting refugees can have within our own society. We will be celebrating the diversity of our school population, and discussing the positive impact that this has throughout everything that we do. We have therefore chosen to support Revive UK as our charity during this week. Revive are an independent charity that provide free practical support, services and advocacy for refugees and people seeking asylum, regardless of their gender, race, religion, sexuality, age, disability or beliefs. They have strong links with Salford City Council, and have previously worked with families linked to our school.
