Hello!

We are from Dean Valley Primary School and last year we did a 16 mile walk along the Middlewood Way from Bollington to Marple and back again and raised lots of money for Cheshire Wildlife Trust (CWT).  It was hard work, but we made it!

This year we are taking on another challenge for CWT with another enormous walk! This time it’s going to be even tougher as we are walking almost as far - 12 miles from Bollington to Lyme Park and back again - but with lots of very BIG HILLS involved - but we are a year older and we are very determined.

It was so exciting to see how the money we raised last year helped to plant trees and protect some special green areas, but we know that nature and the countryside is still really in trouble because of the damage people have caused over the years, and now we are living in a climate emergency.  It makes us sad that lots of species have already been lost or are endangered and we want to do more to help.  We live in the beautiful countryside, and we want it to always be beautiful and to always be full of wildlife, flowers and trees.  

We know that in order for us to have a happy future, we need nature, and nature needs us! So if you can, please sponsor us – it will really help us to keep going and any money we raise will go straight to CWT so they can keep up their brilliant work of helping to protect nature – which helps to protect all of us.
