On 6th September, me and three friends will take on an epic challenge in Keswick — a race not just against time, but for something much bigger. We’re joining the Race the Sun event to support Action Medical Research, a brilliant charity dedicated to funding life-changing research to help sick and vulnerable babies and children.

Our mission?

🚴 Cycle 34 miles

🥾 Hike 10.5 miles

🚣 Row 2 miles

…all from dusk till dawn, powered by determination, teamwork, and (hopefully) snacks.

We’re not elite athletes. We’re four ordinary people pushing our limits for an extraordinary cause. Every mile will test us — up steep climbs, over rugged trails, across cold waters — but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced daily by the children and families this charity supports.

We’re racing the sun to help fund breakthroughs in medicine. To give more children the chance to grow up healthy, strong, and full of life.
