During the first COVID-19 lockdown, many people were suddenly faced with new challenges and difficulties, with no resources to cope. The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation was initially established during this time. Since then, they have evolved into a multi-faceted charity with community at the heart of everything they do - providing a broad range of supportive welfare services to those in need. The foundation supports 80+ schools across the county with regular and emergency food parcels. These parcels are a vital part of many familiesโ daily lives, and ensure every child and their family is able to eat a filling, healthy meal. This support continues over the school holidays with volunteers delivering food parcels to our school to ensure our children and their families do not go without. They also provide emergency parcels for families suddenly facing financial hardship and crisis.
We are currently fundraising for "The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation Abseil Events 2024" scheduled for October 12, 2024 where we will be abseiling down the National Lift Tower from a height of 127m /418ft.
Your support will make a significant difference in ensuring that no child or family in our community goes hungry. Join us in making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
