Story
Hi, I'm Ben Robinson, aged 13 years, and I have decided to organise a fundraising day on 14th Sept 2025, in memory of my Daddy, who we lost on 2nd Sept 2019 to a heart attack. You can read more information here:

I want to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, to help other people who have problems with their hearts. Me and my younger sister Caitlin, and brother Daniel, have raised money for the BHF before when we walked 874 miles, the distance from Land's End to John O'Groats. We were nominated for, and won, a British Heart Foundation Young Heart Hero Award in 2021, and you can read about this journey by following our Facebook page 'Young Hearts Walk Free'.
My fundraising day will be at:
The Irish Centre
Leeds
LS9 9NT
Sunday 14th Sept 2025
1pm - 6pm
Everyone is welcome and there will be lots going on including: a tombola (lots of prizes!), games, cake stalls and bottle stalls. It will be lots of fun and will hopefully raise lots of money in memory of my Daddy, who was funny, kind, daft and amazing, and I miss him very much.
I know there are many people who won't be able to attend on the day itself, but still want to support me, so I have set up this page so anyone can donate here. I will be very grateful for any donations received, which will go directly to the BHF.
Thank you for taking the time to read my page.
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
