July 2023 100 Mile Walk
RSPCA Milton Keynes & North Bucks branch mission; to help rescue, rehabilitate and rehome local animals that need us. Animals might not be able to resolve to make their lives better, but we can - pledge to make a difference to animal welfare in 2023.

Story

Myself and Anne are raising money for our Local RSPCA branch who do an amazing job of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming unwanted and abandoned animals. They rely completely on donations as they are not centrally funded to do their work. We are adopting one of their kittens in a few weeks time, Coco May,( see pictures) who was found alone in a garden at around 2 weeks old with no sign of mum or her siblings. Without the intervention of the RSPCA and the loving care provided to them she would have inevitably died. She is now about 8 weeks old and is a playful, inquisitive bundle of fur and we can’t wait to bring her home. Please sponsor us if you can, the branch desperately need funds as they are inundated with rescue animals at the moment, in May alone I believe they took in around 300 animals. This challenge will also help myself and Anne to get a bit fitter and lose some weight and hopefully lower my cholesterol level , working from home does nothing for your waistline ! We will be doing this 100 mile walking challenge during the whole of July and we will update you on our progress as we go.
