Walking So Nobody Faces Dementia Alone
This year, I’m taking on the Alzheimer’s Society Trek26 in Norfolk.
As someone who works for Alzheimer’s Society, I see every day the impact dementia has on people living with the condition, their families, friends and carers. Dementia is one of the biggest health and social care challenges of our time, affecting millions of people across the UK.
I also see the incredible difference that support, information and understanding can make when people need it most. Alzheimer’s Society is there to help people navigate some of the hardest moments of their lives, providing practical support, campaigning for change and funding vital research to bring us closer to a cure.
That’s why I’ve signed up for Trek26. Every mile I walk across Norfolk is for the people facing dementia today, for those caring for loved ones, and for a future where dementia no longer devastates lives.
I’m challenging myself physically, but it pales in comparison to the challenges faced by so many people affected by dementia every single day.
If you’re able to support me, your donation will help Alzheimer’s Society continue to be there for everyone affected by dementia and invest in the research that gives hope for the future.
Together, we can make sure nobody faces dementia alone.
Thank you for your support.
